This Dove Gray Concrete Floor Base Coat Epoxy 1-Quart Pigment is designed to tint the base coat epoxy that is applied prior to garage floor flake broadcasting; or prior to a decorative metallic floor epoxy. This base coat pigment is packaged individually, making it easy to mix and match colors for custom epoxy floor projects. Simply mix the pigment into the WiseBond® A&B floor epoxy and spread over your prepared concrete floor area. For flake floor broadcasting, do not allow the base coat to cure. Immediately broadcast the flakes on the wet epoxy base coat and allow to cure. For metallic decorative floors, allow the base coat to cure for longer than 18 hours and no longer than 24 hours. Once cured, apply your metallic tinted epoxy and create your one-of-a-kind custom floor!

NOTE: If used in conjunction with our Decorative Metallic Floor Powders, the Epoxy Base Coat Pigments should be used as a base color or highlight. We do not recommend adding the Base Coat Pigments and Metallic Powders to the same mixed epoxy batch. The Base Coat Pigments will over-power the Metallic Powders and you won’t be able to see the beautiful metallic colors.
