NOT FOR SALE YET!

This White Concrete Floor Base Coat Epoxy 1-Quart Pigment is designed to tint the base coat epoxy that is applied prior to garage floor flake broadcasting; or prior to a decorative metallic floor epoxy. This base coat pigment is packaged individually, making it easy to mix and match colors for custom epoxy floor projects. Simply mix the pigment into the WiseBond® A&B floor epoxy and spread over your prepared concrete floor area. For flake floor broadcasting, do not allow the base coat to cure.

We do not offer samples of our products. Why not?

Immediately broadcast the flakes on the wet epoxy base coat and allow to cure. For metallic decorative floors, allow the base coat to cure for longer than 18 hours and no longer than 24 hours. Once cured, apply your metallic tinted epoxy and create your one-of-a-kind custom floor!

HOW TO APPLY? WISEBONDS WHITE CONCRETE FLOOR BASE COAT EPOXY PIGMENT

PREPARATION:

WiseBonds Concrete Floor Base Coat Epoxy Pigment will not penetrate wet surfaces. As such, make certain that the surface is dry prior to application. Apply in temperatures above 40°F. Application at lower temperatures is possible, but ONLY under prescribed conditions and procedures specified by WiseBond.

MIXING:

The appropriate mixing ratio is 1-pint Epoxy Pigment to 1-gallon curing compound.

Remove cover and empty the entire pint of Epoxy Pigment into the gallon of curing compound (use a putty knife to help the paste out of the container).

It is recommended while mixing to pour a portion of the mixture into the empty TINT PASTE container - replace cover, shake, and pour back into the curing compound container - as this will ensure that all pigment intended for the mix will be introduced.

Mix the blended material for an additional 5 minutes using either a jiffy or paddle mixer attached to a drill.

APPLICATION:

Once the material has been mixed it should be applied with a low pressure (20-30 lb.) airless sprayer, long nap applicator or paint roller and distributed evenly. Avoid heavy accumulations.

CLEAN UP:

Pump solvent through spray equipment to remove material residue which can clog the hose and wand assembly.

MAINTENANCE:

Minimal maintenance is required other than occasional sweeping, dusting or mopping.

MIXING TIPS

Never pour A & B into a container without measuring proper ratios.
Mix for the time indicated on the bottle, making sure to scrape the sides occasionally. Mix in any colorants until you acheive desired saturation.
Continue until the epoxy has a single consistency (no streaks or swirls) and use immediately.
