EZ Krete Prep works to scrub impurities out of the concrete pores, leaving a clean, bright finish ready for sealing or coating. It’s the perfect pre-treatment before applying epoxy, stain, or sealer systems. Despite its strength, it’s safe for surrounding vegetation and helps remove dirt, mold, algae, oil, gasoline, and rust stains with ease.

WHY USE WISEBOND® EZ KRETE PREP CONCRETE CLEANER & DEGREASER?

Concrete Cleaner Degreaser & Etcher in a dilution of 2-1 to 4-1 (part water to part concentrate) will help open the pores of the surface increase the penetration and adhesion of our water-based epoxy. It can also remove release agents that the surface absorbed during the curing process, ensuring that the epoxy system can be absorbed and create the correct bond.

Whether you’re a seasoned contractor or a first-time DIY user, EZ Krete Prep makes concrete cleaning simple and effective. With easy dilution ratios, no neutralization required, and water rinse-off, it’s one of the most efficient surface cleaners available. Once diluted, it’s safe for plants and can be disposed of down a drain, making it powerful, practical, and eco-friendly.

HOW TO CLEAN CONCRETE WITH WISEBOND® EZ KRETE PREP CONCRETE CLEANER & DEGREASER

One of the easiest cleaning agents available, EZ Krete Prep is formulated for use by both professionals and DIY users.

Step 1: Dilute EZ Krete Prep with water at a 2:1 ratio (2 parts water to 1 part cleaner).
Step 2: Lightly dampen the concrete using a spray mist or garden hose nozzle.
Step 3: Evenly apply the diluted cleaner across the surface, keeping it wet during application.
Step 4: While the surface remains wet, scrub with a stiff bristle broom or brush.
Step 5: Before the cleaner dries, rinse thoroughly with a hose or pressure washer until all residue is removed.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Apply in temperatures above freezing and below 90°F (32°C).
Stronger dilution ratios may be needed for heavy buildup.
Some surfaces may require mechanical prep (e.g., grinding or shot blasting).
