WiseBond’s Epoxy Top Coat is a commercial grade high gloss floor polyurethane solvent based for heavy-duty high traffic interior floor topcoat.

We do not offer samples of our products. Why not?

WiseBond’s solvent-based clear high gloss floor polyurethane is 2 component 51% solids, acrylic aliphatic polyurethane designed as a non-yellowing clear coating for interior concrete, concrete overlays, or as a clear top finish coat on epoxy systems. The high-gloss clear top coat generates the premier balance of strength, added UV stability, flexibility, chemical and scratch resistance that is both user-friendly and extremely durable.

When dealing with protective coatings for concrete, which sealer you choose can vary wildly based upon the arena that the sealer is going to be applied in, the different chemicals it will be exposed to, as well as the amount of foot traffic or abrasion it will endure. In the case of choosing a sealer for an interior concrete application or overlay, there are few coatings that offer the balance of cost-efficiency and resilience as solvent polyurethane sealers. WiseBond’s Polyurethane solvent based clear topcoat has been formulated to be one of the most mechanically and chemically resistant coatings available on the market today.

HOW TO APPLY? WISEBONDS CLEAR SOLVENT-BASED POLYURETHANE TOP COAT

The versatility as a crack treatment product allows for a relatively wide ranged in application procedures. However, the main focuses of the treatment process remain the same.

Step 1: All cracks should be "dressed" appropriately by cleaning out with a "V" blade or "crack chaser" equipped with an electric grinder.
Step 2: Make sure crack has been cleared of dust and is dry before application of SCT-EP
Step 3: Mix the Concrete Crack Filler thoroughly, until mixture is one consistent color, being careful not to mix more than you need.
Step 4: Prime the "v-joint," or cleaned out the crack, by brushing the epoxy mixture into the crack making sure it is injected into the crack.
Step 5: Combine clean, dry, inorganic silica sand with the epoxy mixture to create a thick slurry.
Step 6: Pour in the mixture and trowel it into the surface. If coming over the top with an overlay, sprinkle some sand over top of the treated crack to help create a better bond with the next coating.
Step 7: After approximately 8 hours. and the product has set, use a grinder to remove any excess materials to maintain a flat, even surface.
